Louis is keen on travelling. He would visit every country if he could afford it. What fascinates him most is Japanese culture; it has no secrets for him.

He used to do a lot of sports, especially rowing, he is mad about this sport: you could see him rowing all along the Seine. But now he has a problem with his knee and he has to wait until his knee goes better.

Then he is very friendly but don’t pick up a fight or you will regret it because he gets angry very quickly. I think it is his worst defect.

If you are sick you may meet Louis as a doctor when he is older because he has a passion for medicine and he wants to become a well-known doctor.

Hugo is really fond of rugby, he plays rugby, he watches rugby, he speaks

rugby, he could even sing rugby, and when he's not doing something about

rgby, that means he is with his elder brother at a concert of a famous rock

band, no matter which, as long as it's famous, with very loud music, people

dancing, singing, screaming or even crying.

He is also very patriotic, probably too much, but however. In fact, his

family comes from Corsica, so he is always talking about this place. He says

he is French and Corsican, just like it was a foreign country, but it's just

a French island, isn't it ?

Otherwise, each time he learns someone is Corsican or he sees a Corsican

flag, he gest excited. He alsosays this is the best place in the world, of

course. Even if I think he is a bit jealous, but not too much, just a bit,

he is also very friendly and he loves being with his friends, actually, he

likes fraternity, you know, contact with other people, friendship, and all

that stuff.

The U.N. has sent a special Human Rights envoy to Iran

According to a chart currently unveiled by the AFP, the Iranian authorities are said to intensify the condemnations against the opponents to the regime. Then, as many reports had been revealed at the U.N, the Assembly in charge of the Human Rights decided to send a special envoy to Tehran who will report about the repression.

This process isn’t new: the U.N. sent many reporters to Teheran until 2005, and then, Iran refused to host anyone else. The decision was taken by the Human Rights’ Assembly of the U.N, based in Geneva. There, this initiative was introduced by Sweden. The Americans agreed and supported it. Then, twenty-two countries accepted this plan. Fourteen delegations refrained, and seven refused it. China, Russia, Pakistan, Cuba number among those seven countries..

Seyed Mohammad Reza Sajjadi, who stands for Iran denounced “the destructive part” of the USA in the council. He also condemned the violations of the Human Rights perpetrated everywhere in the world. At last, he declared that Tehran had already invited many reporters to go to Iran, as Navi Pillay, who leads the Human Right’s section of the United Nations.

A European diplomat declared that this event is the result and the reward of a long diplomatic effort. He also said that this council can subsist only if the members are knitted together against violations of the Human Rights.

Because of Iranian censorship, we don’t exactly know how many executions have been staged this year. The AFP report mentions ninety-two condemnations to death since the beginning of March 2011.


OPINION: Some countries, Iran first, consider that this reporter is only going to be an American spy. Moreover, the US still supports the death penalty in a majority of states. So they are hardly a role-model in this case, however they quickly supported the Swedish project. But, this reporter is only going to see the few things that the Iranian authorities will decide to show him. This is probably not going to be important for the future decisions.

L’ONU missionne un envoyé spécial chargé des Droits de l’Homme en Iran

Selon un rapport récemment dévoilé par l’AFP, les autorités iraniennes auraient intensifié les condamnations contre les opposants au régime. Ainsi, plusieurs rapports ont été révélés aux Nations Unies, et la commission chargée des Droits de l’Homme a décidé d’envoyer un reporter spécial à Téhéran. Là, il pourra mesurer le niveau de la répression

Ce processus n’est pas nouveau : l’ONU a déjà envoyé beaucoup de nombreux chargés de mission à Téhéran jusqu’en 2005, puis l’Iran a refusé d’en accueillir d’autres.

La récente décision a été prise par le Conseil des Droits de l’Homme basé à Genève. Là, le projet a été présenté par la Suède, les Américains l’ont alors soutenu, vingt-deux pays l’ont ratifié, quatorze délégations se sont abstenues, et sept l’ont rejeté. Parmi ces sept pays, on trouve la Chine, la Russie, le Pakistan, Cuba, etc.

Seyed Mohammad Reza Sajjadi, qui représente l’Iran a dénoncé le « rôle destructeur » des Etats-Unis au conseil. Il a également condamné les atteintes aux Droits de l’Homme commises partout dans le monde. Enfin, il a déclaré que Téhéran avait déjà invité plusieurs responsables à venir en Iran, comme Navi Pillay, qui dirige le département des droits de l’Homme aux Nations Unies.

Un diplomate européen a déclaré que cet événement est le résultat et la récompense d’un long effort diplomatique. Il a ajouté que ce conseil ne peut subsister que si ses membres sont soudés face aux violations des Droits de l’Homme.

A cause de la censure iranienne, on ne connaît pas le nombre exact d’exécutions ayant eu lieu cette année. Le rapport de l’AFP a recensé quatre-vingt douze condamnations à mort depuis le début de mars 2011.


OPINION : Quelques pays, l’Iran en premier, considèrent que cet envoyé n’est qu’un espion américain. De plus, les Etats-Unis appliquent toujours la peine de mort et ne font donc pas figure d’exemple dans cette affaire, alors qu’ils ont rapidement appuyé le projet suédois. L’envoyé devrait voir les rares choses que voudront bien lui montrer les autorités iraniennes. Cette mission risque donc de ne pas peser lourd dans les décisions à venir.
