Boosting drones

Boosting drones

February 18, 2019

The headquarters for the development of Iranian aeronautical technologies is looking for an Iranian brand for its drones, announced the Secretary of Headquarters Manouchehr Manteqi.

The headquarters plans to focus on the manufacture of drones, as an industry, with the possibility of creating added value.

Iranian professionals are developing the drone manufacturing industry extensively leading to satisfactory results.

The headquarters want to bring together the manufacturer of drone parts, the producers and those who provide drone-based services.

The secretary wants to select a national brand for all drones made in Iran, which will open the door to exporting to other countries.

The drone industry is growing rapidly and every week, news releases and documents on new drones are published.

Drones were originally used in some of these areas with helicopters and aircraft. However, these services are expensive to hire and are not always available when needed.

Rescue, parcel deliveries, precision agriculture, environmental conservation, insurance, policing and sports are some of the uses of drones.
