President Ahmadinejad reacts to killings in Syria

According to an interview given to CNN, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, called on Syria and its president, Bashar al-Assad, to engage dialogue with Syrian people to stop violence and avoid an intervention of Western countries, particularly of the US government.

The Syria crisis began a few months ago, just after the Tunisian revolution.

Protesters have been calling for political reforms and the reinstatement of civil rights. During this period, thousands of people have been killed during demonstrations.

Iran’s president declared, on October 25th, that "Nobody has the right to kill others, neither the government nor its opponents." He also said that “The people and government of Syria must come together to reach an understanding”.

President Ahmadinejad also claimed that “The positions of the United States are not going to help. They have never helped”.

Iran is a major ally of Syria and is certainly scared of a revolution there that could spoil their good relationship.

Thomas is mad about sports played with rackets. This big friend of mine loves table tennis and is a tennis freak, and I’m sure he’s able to mention all the champions in history.

In my opinion he’s good-tempered but can be really nervous when he’s under pressure and his worst defect is to be impatient. By the way, I think he’s superstitious because he’s always wearing this necklace in the shape of a salamander.

I have to tell you that it’s really unusual for me to call him Thomas, because during the last two years my friends and I have called him Tweety, don’t ask me why.

His favourite occupation is to hang out with friends, friendship is a really important thing for Thomas and is as significant as brotherhood.

Louis is keen on travelling. He would visit every country if he could afford it. What fascinates him most is Japanese culture; it has no secrets for him.

He used to do a lot of sports, especially rowing, he is mad about this sport: you could see him rowing all along the Seine. But now he has a problem with his knee and he has to wait until his knee goes better.

Then he is very friendly but don’t pick up a fight or you will regret it because he gets angry very quickly. I think it is his worst defect.

If you are sick you may meet Louis as a doctor when he is older because he has a passion for medicine and he wants to become a well-known doctor.

Hugo is really fond of rugby, he plays rugby, he watches rugby, he speaks
rugby, he could even sing rugby, and when he's not doing something about
rgby, that means he is with his elder brother at a concert of a famous rock
band, no matter which, as long as it's famous, with very loud music, people
dancing, singing, screaming or even crying.
He is also very patriotic, probably too much, but however. In fact, his
family comes from Corsica, so he is always talking about this place. He says
he is French and Corsican, just like it was a foreign country, but it's just
a French island, isn't it ?
Otherwise, each time he learns someone is Corsican or he sees a Corsican
flag, he gest excited. He alsosays this is the best place in the world, of
course. Even if I think he is a bit jealous, but not too much, just a bit,
he is also very friendly and he loves being with his friends, actually, he
likes fraternity, you know, contact with other people, friendship, and all
that stuff.
