For two days, in Teheran, Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenk, Chairman of the Russian Federation Councilhas met various Iranian officials in particular Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, with the aim of developing the business connections between both countries
At the head of a parliamentary delegation, Matviyenko, also spoke to the Iranian president Hassan Rouhani concerning the situation in Syria as well as to Ali Larijani, president of the assembly of Iran.
The different parties highlighted the significant potential between the two countries and the opportunities created by the agreement on Iranian nuclear power.

Renforcement des liens stratégiques entre la Russie et l'Iran
Durant deux jours, à Teheran, Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, présidente du conseil de la Fédération russe, a rencontré différents responsables iraniens notamment Mohammad Javad Zarif, ministre des affaires étrangères dans le but de développer les relations commerciales entre les deux pays.
A la tête d’une délégation de parlementaires, Matviyenko, s’est également entretenue avec le président iranien Hassan Rouhani concernant la situation en Syrie ainsi qu’avec Ali Larijani, président de l’assemblée d’Iran.
Les différentes parties ont souligné le potentiel important existant entre les deux pays et le rapprochement rendu possible depuis la signature de l’accord sur le nucléaire iranien.
